I love the presentation side of the game because both the visuals and sound design capture the carnival feeling extremely well. The game has a great deal of replayabilty present thanks to the different outfits and styles you can unlock when playing the different mini-games. It has a gentle difficulty curve and never oversteps the mark which means gamers of all ages can enjoy what this game has to offer. It was nice to see new mini-games included because this gives you a reason to purchase the game again. The game offers you the chance to play on your own I found the game to get repetitive quite quickly when playing it this way. I enjoyed the new mini-games that had been included but a few different modes and features would’ve also been nice and this may have brought new fans to the table. I love Carnival Games and I’ve played this game on a number of different consoles but that still didn’t stop me from getting excited about it releasing on the Xbox One. Thankfully once again it delivered a huge amount of fun to me and it was very nice to see a few new additions when it came to the different mini-games you can play in this game. My favourite thing about this game is that it never takes itself too seriously and in the end it’s just all about having fun with friends and family. You can play the game on your own though if you wish but for me the best way to enjoy this game is with friends and family because it doesn’t get repetetive when playing the game this way. Thankfully in terms of replaybility it doesn’t matter how you play the game because there’s a ton of it and the gentle difficulty curve means frustration never rears its ugly head and that was very important for me and my children. At the end of the day then even if you’ve played Carnival Games on multiple consoles like myself I still would recommend that you get the game again on the Xbox One because it’s as fun as ever and the new mini-games fit in with old one’s perfectly meaning the fun is pretty much endless.
