Exploring is still the most interesting part in Fallout 76, but your adventure tour is limited by empty open-world, and outdated graphics performance. It is more like an MMO mod of Fallout 4, rather than a brand-new work.

Fallout 76 is Fallout, and it isn't Fallout at the same time. And for all the hype around the multiplayer, both friend and foe, it seems inconsequential most of the time. Just passer-bys on the street more often than not, it's there but it doesn't matter. It's a fun game, but I don't think it's going to be a timeless classic I return to time and time again years from now once I feel I've had enough.

There’s a great deal of raw potential here that could, with time and luck, be forged into one of the series’ best. Bold changes to Battlefield’s traditional gunplay, essential resources, and team dynamics create a strong foundation.

Putting aside its many technical issues, Fallout 76 offers an empty world in which, paradoxically, there are many things to do, but everything appears to be an end in itself. There is something good in this game, but it’s crippled by a bland world design and a non-existent plot. This is a game that may be able to entertain, but boredom is always dangerously around the corner.

Fallout 76 is in its present state, with all these mistakes, bottlenecks and missed opportunities just not a good game - no matter what the miracle ingredient may look like.

Fallout 76’s premise may have made a lot of sense of paper, as many people love surviving with friends in a huge world, but in practice it has a lot of things that keep it from reaching greatness: From the sparse open world with too few players, to the non-engaging story, to actual clunky multiplayer, both cooperative and competitive.

Its empty and soulless world, completely bland quest design, limited variety of unpolished content that gets repetitive very quickly, plus the typical game-breaking bugs and glitches we've come to expect from a Bethesda title using the same decades-old game engine, mean that Fallout 76 is a game that doesn't even quite manage to appeal to the special "co-op/survival" crowd it wants to appeal to in the first place, let alone old or newer fans of the Fallout franchise.

0? Really? There are some **** games like the quiet man, or sonic laberynth, but, wtf, this is amazing, if you are looking to a real review0? Really? There are some **** games like the quiet man, or sonic laberynth, but, wtf, this is amazing, if you are looking to a real review and not a **** 0, im going to tell you about this game, first of all, singleplayer experience is very, VERY good, on my case, i play singleplayer and i found a lot of people around the map, i explore the map, i kill the monsters in the map, i can do events in the map, i can claim workshops for pvp events, ¿NPC? well, there are npc, but some "real fallout players" or "single players" tolds you that the game doesn't have NPCs, this is false, there are ROBOTS npcs, and you´re going to say "well, robots, but theres no humans, **** game" but the robots are not useless like the humans in fallout 4, they can attack you and help you, but, tell me, people that "loves the multiplayer rpg games", in a game like fallout, where you can do absolutely EVERYTHING with the npcs, how can you put human npcs with story or missions in a fallout online game, someone kills the human npcs and the story is **** the gameplay is exactly like fallout 4 but better, and about the "recicled graphics", go to play fallout new vegas and think again about this, i recommend the game and i give it a 8 or a 7.5 , but i give a 10 in metacritic because this people cant think and just drop ****

The map is huge, locations are detailed and are all done in classic Fallout style. It reminds me playing New Vegas or F4 after the main story line is already done, but here with some bonus multiplayer/MMO social elements.

Maybe it can be okay, but a lot of bugs.

I would be ashamed if I worked as a developer in Bethesda.

Graphics in general? Not awful, but not good either for a 2018 game. Animations? Clunky. Gunplay? Clunky unoriginal. Music? Lack luster or nothing special. Story? Lazy and boring. Enemies? Copy and pasted from fallout 4 and are no threat considering they get 1 shot no matter what.

Co-op experience? Made the game bare able but quests aren’t shared. Bugs? A lot of those.

Literally one of the worst games I’ve played in a while. I only gave it a chance because of the name. If it didn’t say fallout I wouldn’t have any interest in trying the beta.

From a genre perspective.... rust, ark, the forest, Conan exiles, subnautica (not a fan but have heard and seen great things about it), don’t starve, and etc. literally any other survival game does what fallout wants to do but 100x better. I would take any early access survival game rn over fallout 76’s buggy, unoptimized, no content having, $60 price tag.
