Forsaken also features an all-new competitive and collaborative endgame activity, called Gambit. A first-of-its kind for Destiny, Gambit is a new, hybrid 4v4 mode that merges both PvE and PvP experiences into an epic battle. This entirely new way to play Destiny 2 offers something for all types of gamers to enjoy, appealing to those who thrive on the competitive challenge of PvP gameplay, while seamlessly blending the collaborative and unpredictable elements of PvE. Forsaken will persistently be a different game with new things to do and discover each and every week, and I don’t see that slowing down anytime soon.

The majority of my experience with Destiny 2: Forsaken over the last two weeks has been overwhelmingly positive. I think the addition of Gambit, the change up of gameplay design and leveling, the raid, and the sense of scale with the two additional maps has really notched the entertainment value for this series up quite a bit.

Bungie finally regains his creative vision, rewrites all the balances, enhances his activities, sculpts a much more satisfactory progress.

Destiny 2: Forsaken moves the franchise forward by taking a step back, but the epic story and new content give players plenty to do, and once again sets itself up for years of intense firefights.

This big year-two expansion irons out most of Destiny 2's wrinkles and offers some of the most mysterious, enjoyable content the series has seen so far.

While it took longer than it ever should to fix its mistakes, Bungie’s new expansion for Destiny 2, Forsaken, is a massive leap forward. Guardians can finally experience a story that packs an emotional punch and several reworked features that make general gameplay epic. However, it also divides players with its endgame progression, forcing them to choose between becoming a dedicated daily player or someone that can only enjoy a small portion of what it has to offer.

If this review reads like a roller coaster of emotions, that's because Destiny 2: Forsaken, like all things post-2010 Bungie, is lopsided.

    Amazing.

Forsaken really feels like a complete package. Graphics, Story, Content all great. It is the 1st time in Destiny where there is so much to do I am having trouble deciding what to do next.

Amazing Bungie! I'm so happy you got back to your roots no longer trying to please every person that complains. we never need to nerf anythingAmazing Bungie! I'm so happy you got back to your roots no longer trying to please every person that complains. we never need to nerf anything because its a level playing field! If you're getting killed a lot in PVP its because other players are better than you! Quests and PVE need to be hard and challenging! As always thank you for an amazing game!

Has a compelling story that, somewhat carries over into the endgame, at least far better than any other story in Destiny 2 has. Regardless all the missions are interesting and unique and the new bounties offer creative missions and bosses to fight against. Really impressed so far, but we wont see the full scope of this expansion until around three weeks in. Not to mention the new Gambit mode is absolutely fantastic. For the most part its won me back.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well, I must accept that Forsaken is how the game should have gone in the beginning, at least Destiny 2, the excessively high price to be a DLC, and really that an iconic character died from the saga is not very good, however, the amount of content, new activities like Gambito have revived the game. It's worth it, not every penny, but it happens. Giving this game less scoring is to underestimate the quality of some things. Giving more points is overestimating the relationship between price / content.

Story is terrible (as always), loot pool is small, rehashed content and forcing to buy those trash DLC packs is ridiculous and greedy choice. Balancing and adjusting things seems to be extremely hard for Bungie, everytime they do something it's always 1 step forward 2 step backwards. And best of all, they always say that they just listened the "fans", so basically just blaming destiny players for every bad choice they make. I guess only people who praise this DLC are those mindless destiny fanatics who keep buying and swallowing everything Bungie throws at them. I've played all dlc content since vanilla days (except warmind and osiris dlc) and by now i can see that there is no future in Destiny franchise.
